Our Beliefs

WestminsterAssemblyTrinity is a part of the Canadian Presbytery of the ARP synod. We are reformed and Presbyterian, which means that we hold to the teaching of Scripture as expressed and formulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. We join the historic Church in approving them as founded upon, and in accordance with, the Word of God, our primary standard and only infallible rule of faith and life.

Aids to help you:

Westminster Confession of Faith:

Every church has a creed even if that creed is “We have no creed but Christ”. Ours is no different.

We believe our confession is the best expression of the doctrines contained with scripture. Below our some helpful resources to introduce you to the confession.

John Gerstner’s series of lectures, available from Ligonier Ministries.

Jonathan highly recommends this resource as a way to become familiar with the confession, though Gerstner and our Presbytery would disagree on creation.
